What happens to Estimated Taxes already paid if I'm taking the Standard Deduction?

You still get credit for your estimated taxes that were paid during 2018 even if you take the standard deduction. Follow the directions below to enter your estimated taxes into TurboTax.

1. Log in and click take me to my return (unless already in).
2. Click Tax Tools from the left-side menu.
3. Select Tools from the drop-down menu.
4. Click Topic Search, type Estimated Tax Payments and click Go. 

Alternatively, you can type Estimated Tax Payments into the Search box at the top right side of the screen and click the "Jump To" link in the search results.
