What folder do I need to store the 2015 return in so the 2016 return can find it? Just installed 2016 home and business on my new PC. 2015 return is not on the new PC.

Running Windows 10.

It really doesn't matter where you put that 2015 income tax return as long as you know where it is and can guide TurboTax to it when you tell TurboTax to transfer the 2015 information into the 2016 income tax return.

TurboTax typically stores the income tax returns it creates at C:\Users\[User name]\Documents\TurboTax so you certainly can put that 2015 income tax return in that folder.

In case you don't know which file.  You need to copy the file ending in .tax2015 to transfer into 2016.  Actually I would just copy the whole Turbo Tax folder (the one under Documents) to the new computer so you get all the tax files and pdf files of them.  When you start a new return in 2016 if it doesn't find the 2015 file to transfer you can browse to where it is.
