What does “state and local tax summary” mean? Mine is showing a number from my 2023 tax return. Do I leave that number or replace it with something?

It's a summary of the state and local refunds your received last year. (For example the amount of refund you received in 2024 from your state tax return when you filed for the year before).

If you filed last year with TurboTax, the system will automatically enter this amount. The system will decide if it is tax-deductible or not. You don't need to delete it.

Depending on your state, you might also receive a 1099-G with this amount. You don't need to add it again.
