I am a S corp whose CA secretary of state number does not start with a 19 or 20. Only LLCs have a SOS number starting with 19 or 20. How do I bypass that question on the form?
An S Corp is just the way the Corporation or LLC is taxed. If your SOS number begins with another number you can request a waiver to paper file. Enter a number if it doesn't allow you to get to the next step. When you are done entering the data, you would print out the California return and mail it in. Here is a link to request the waiver.
