What does it mean on the section for the 1095 when it states "Box 1- Market Place Identifier"? My 1095 just has my first name in box one so I am confused.

I do not understand what goes in box 1 market place identifier can you please give me an example?

That is for a Form 1095-A which you would have received if you had health insurance through one of the state Marketplace Exchanges.  If you did not receive a Form 1095-A and did not have health insurance through the Marketplace then you do not complete a Form 1095-A.

Forms 1095-B and 1095-C are not entered on a tax return.  You would just keep of copy of those with your records.

Delete the Form 1095-A you started to enter if not needed.

Enter 1095-a in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1095-a

Delete the Form 1095-A listed.

only a 1095-A would have a marketplace identifier. (policy obtained through healthcare.go. vou may have a 1095 B or C which don't get entered in your return
