What do you do after you file with TurboTax ? Do you just wait or do you have to do something else?

I just filed my taxes through TurboTax. And I’m just wondering what do I do next just wait for the IRS to except my refund or do I need to print anything and send it to them. They did a e-file

Now you wait for your return to be accepted or rejected by the IRS. You do not need to mail anything unless we tell you to. The goal of e-filing is to eliminate as much paperwork as possible.

There are a handful of situations where you might have to mail something after e-filing. If yours is one of them, we'll let you know. Otherwise, don't worry about it.

We do recommend that you print your return for your records after your e-filed return has been accepted.

Did you complete the "File" step in TurboTax? If so, when you log into your TurboTax account you should see a timeline of your filed return, the acceptance, and the estimated refund date, if applicable. If you log into TurboTax and it continues to take you through the steps of completing your return, you may not have completed filing. You should also have received an email confirmation of the filing.

If you have filed, TurboTax does not receive updates from the IRS. You can check the status of your return and your refund through the link below:
