What do i put in for my AGI when i didnt file taxes last year? The IRS denied "0" already.

It's my first time and the guy on the phone told me there would be an option to say that it was my first time filing.

You have to use your prior-year AGI to validate your identify, but as a first-time filer who is over 16, enter zero as your AGI.

Refer to the IRS Validating your electronically filed tax return for more information.

You said an AGI of 0 didn't work.

I know you said this was your first time to file your return, but was any return filed in your name last year?   i.e., did your parents file a return for you in your name last year?
