What do I do when I do not have a 1099-DIV for less than $10 in dividend income?

Since I do not have the form, I do not know the Payer's Federal Identification Number.  Where can I find it?

If your Dividend Income was more than $10 you should have received a 1099-DIV reporting the income.  If you did not you can call the company and ask for their Federal Identification Number so you can report the information on your return.

If the dividend is less than $10 you do not required to report the income on your tax return.
