What do I do if i find an error with my drivers license info after efiling federal return

I just efiled my federal return and printed out my state return to be mailed.   I noticed that my driver license number has a typo and needs correcting.

Do I need to refile my federal return?

How do I correct this for my state return?

If your eFiled federal return was accepted by the IRS, then you don't need to do anything.  If it is rejected because of the license number issue, you'll have the opportunity to correct it and re-submit.

You don't need to do anything related to the number with your state return, since it's being mailed.
