What a pile of ***, TurboTax free edition is a lie, they force you to upgrade halfway through and wont let you continue unless you pay extra.

Due to IRS adding new changes within the Schedules, there are now situations in which an upgrade may be needed. You are able to begin your tax return using TurboTax Free, but if you do not qualify for TurboTax Free, you will be prompted to upgrade.

Completely agree! It is a scam. Tried to use the free edition and because I received  a legal settlement which is taxable, they won't let me file for free!

turbo tax is F@#$%KING people over.  Their customer service rep hung up on my and closed my case WITHOUT FIXING THE ISSUE WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my support ID that I got ripped off with [social security number removed].  Turbo Tax has a class action suit against them for all this shady crap
