We're seeing an incorrect Schedule H (doesn't match nanny payroll). Beyond "Other" > "About Your Nanny," where does Sched. H pull from? Where did I enter something wonky?

Our payroll's schedule H lists federal income tax withheld as one (lower) number.
The schedule H that turbotax is generating lists federal income tax withheld as another (higher) number.
(The difference is 1,384, not a number I see anywhere else on our documentation!)

Go through the Nanny Tax section in TurboTax and enter the amounts from your Schedule H.   There is a screen where you will be prompted to enter the withholding amounts.

That is the one place we've been! "Other Tax Situations," and then "Enter your household employee information." (It's described in the original question as "Other"  "About Your Nanny").

The question was: Since we've double-checked that info, where -else- could Schedule H be pulling information from? Where else could a wrong $ "income tax withheld" number come from?

Thanks

The $233 you entered for Federal Tax Withheld should show on Schedule H, Line 7

Could the difference be that Schedule H, Line 8a shows $1570 for Total Social Security, Medicare and Federal Income Taxes?

For anyone at intuit who can fix it, or anyone else who is searching this, it appears to be a bug in turbotax's math.

Turbotax's 2021 Schedule H line 7 (federal income tax withheld) is drawing from our W3 line 2 (federal income tax withheld), plus line 4 (SS tax withheld), and line 6 (Medicare tax withheld).

Schedule H line 7 (federal income tax withheld) should only list the $ reported in W3 line 2 (federal income tax withheld).
