"We noticed you have a k-1 that has no entries" Error

This is similar to another question but my K-1 is an LLC and it has entries in line 1, 13 and 14 but I'm still getting the error.  This is a K-1 that I had last year and was brought forward when I started this year.  I can't see what the problem is.  Should I delete it and re-enter?

You may have box information from the prior year that you're not seeing so that would likely be the quickest way to resolve your problem.  To delete the entry in TurboTax Home & Business you can follow these steps:

 

  1. Within your return use the Forms icon in the upper right of the screen to switch to forms mode
  2. Find your K-1 in the list on the left and click it
  3. At the bottom of the preview screen use the Delete Form button to remove it.
  4. Use the Step-by-Step icon to switch back to the Step-by-Step mode
  5. Use the magnifying glass icon to search for K-1
  6. Click the Jump to link that shows in the result and enter your K-1 as it shows
