We need to file our 2023 taxes, I paid for the download but our computers are too old to allow the download. Is there an offering for 2023 taxes that doesn't require this

You can only do a 2023 return with TurboTax on the desktop. 

If your computer does not meet the system requirements for the 2023 desktop download, you might need to ask a friend or family member if you can use the software on their computer.   No, there is not an alternate way to prepare a 2023 return using TurboTax.   Online software can only be used for a 2024 return--- no other year.

 

If you cannot find a way to use the 2023 software, you will need to seek out some other kind of help like local paid tax help or some other software that might work for you.
