We moved, now my husband has two different Box 18-20 values

I downloaded my husband's W-2 into TurboTax and was surprised when it later said there was an error I needed to fix. He has two different sets of values for boxes 18-20. We moved in May from one locality to another within the same state, and his employer apparently separated out the amounts going to each local district and gave him different W-2s for each. This is nice in that it saves me some math when I file both sets of local taxes this year, but for federal purposes, TurboTax is apparently unhappy with it and wants me to delete one of them. Do I add the values together to reflect his full-year totals? Do I just pick one? I don't have a single combined version - of all eight copies, all show either the income in one district, the other district, or boxes 18-19 are empty and 20 contains "TOTAL CITY." We're taking the standard deduction, so I'm not sure if these totals are really essential for federal purposes. Thanks in advance!

You need to enter the two Forms W-2 as a single Form.  If the amounts in boxes 1 - 6, and 15, 16, & 17 are not the totals for the entire year, you need to combine the amounts and enter the totals.  You will then enter two localities in the same W-2 entry.  You should delete both W-2s that you imported and then manually enter the combined W-2.
