We have been filing Jointly with my wife using an ITIN number but she has a SSN. Therefor, we did not receive a Stimulus payment. Can you help us?

first, read through this thread and follow the directions

it is VERY IMPORTANT to WAIT to file until you can confidently use the SS# for BOTH of you.  You will receive both the first and 2nd stimulus payments via your 2020 tax return.

 

The law changed this week: originally, if one of you used an ITIN then neither was eligible for the stimulus.  Now, retroactive to that first stimulus, if one of you uses an ITIN, then the other is still eligible for the stimulus. 

 

Best to wait for the software to be updated to reflect the new law and NOT RUSH to file.  You can't file until late January in any event.
