We get insurance thru work, so do I still need a 1095-a form to file my taxes

No, you do not need a 1095-A.  If you had health insurance continuously from work you should not get a 1095-A.

 

A 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace Statement, is a form you receive from the Health Insurance Marketplace if you or a family member purchased health insurance through the Marketplace for part or all of the year.
