We could not e-file your return for the following reason: The Intuit Electronic Filing System is having difficulty recognizing the data in the return you are sending.

My tax return said the same thing about not recognizing the data. I went back through my personal info at the beginning and found one place where my phone number wasn’t entered. Once I added the missing information, my tax return filed with no problems.
