We became legal permanent resident in Aug 2021. Before that my teenage son didn't have SSN, so he didn't get $1400 for 3rd stimulus payment in 2021. Can I claim it now?

Only my wife and I had SSN, and I was using ITIN for my son while filing tax returns so far. So we got $2,800 for third stimulus payment for us and nothing for my child. But he got his SSN in Aug 2021. Can I claim for remaining $1,400 stimulus payment for my child now? Our AGI is eligible for receiving full amount.

Yes, you can claim the 3rd stimulus check for your son.

On the screen Let's double-check the amount you received, select No and enter $2800. I assume you qualify for $4200 with one dependent.
