We arrived in the USA on 09/21/2024 under H1-B and H4 VISAS - and never left (201 days). Can I use the "first-year choice" to fill as a resident (form 1040) for 2024?

If yes, can I sue TurboTax or any other online tool?

Double check what you should be filing with:

For nonresident return, use Sprintax. For resident, TurboTax or another tax preparation software is fine.

Thank you for your answers.
Sprintax doesn't have an option to use the "first-year" rule. This results in substantial higher taxes in my case.
