We are sorry, we are having trouble authorizing your credit card. Please verify your billing address, card number and CVV and try again.

I have tried several times to make the credit card payment and I keep getting this error.

 

"We are sorry, we are having trouble authorizing your credit card. Please verify your billing address, card number and CVV and try again."

 

I tried steps in this link and it didnt work either.

I have contacted Card issuer and they said they dont see even a transaction attempt from Turbotax. I have even tried 4 different cards, and none of them worked..

 

Tried reaching out to telephone/ online support, both agents wasted almost 3 hours (restarting browser, clearing cache, etc) - nothing worked..

I am having the same issue. All to pay the $25 for State filling. If I can't get past this wall, then I cannot eFile. Very frustrating. Really makes me want to drop this program and get something else.

If you have tried all the steps in the FAQ to no avail; please try using a different internet browser altogether and let us know if the issue persists.

My issue was finally resolved by speaking to Collections department. There was some error in the system and my account was flagged as pending for collection.

 

Collections department (6 AM to 2 PM - Account on hold)

[phone number removed] collections department 

 

Once I spoke to them, they immediately removed the flag and I was about to proceed. 

 

May be you could try this..
