wasn't all of Georgia given until May 1st to file and pay any outstanding federal and state taxes ?

I just filed in Georgia for state and federal. Will my taxes be considered late ?

If you filed your GA state tax return before midnight on 05/01/2025 it is considered as being timely filed, not late.

The IRS will recognize your extension to May 1 by the zip code on your tax return.
