Was i suppose to file self employed ?

I am not a Small business owner or do I contract. Was I suppose to file Self Employed?

Self-Employed is simply the version of TurboTax that is being used.  It creates an individual return, but also allows self-employed business activity to be included on the tax return.  If you are wanting to downgrade to a different version of TurboTax, see the information and steps below:
