Wait for Form 8911

Turbotax is preventing me from filing my tax return.  The block is an update to form 8911.  The competition date, now stated as 3/5/24 has moved at least 3 times.

 

I collected the data and reviewed the IRS forms and I am qualified.

 

Yet, Turbotax prevents an e-file option and only allows paper submission...

TurboTax is aware of this issue and is working with Developers to correct the issue.  It takes considerable time to make changes to the programs to properly process the form.  The IRS made updates to Form 8911 Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit. TurboTax is planning to make updates around this by 02/28/2024. Please check back then to be sure you are eligible to receive this credit.
