Wage and Income Transcipt has no information. Will that further delay processing of my return?

My 2021 return is still processing.  I know about the IRS delays and backlog, etc. so I understand that.

In my IRS account, the 2021 Wage and Income transcript has zero information.   None of my W-2, 1099 INT/DIV, 1099-B, etc. show up.   I received all those forms by mid-February.   I realize it can take a while for some things to show up on that transcript, but I would have thought something out of the several income items I have would have posted.   The IRS even says it can take up until July.   But in years past there's always been "something" (if not everything) that has already shown up in the Wage and Income transcript by now.  The fact that nothing is showing there is odd.   Last year, for instance, all W-2 and 1099 form info showed on the Wage and Income Transcript by mid-April.  Will the IRS not process a return until every single informational form mentioned on the tax return posts to the Wage and Income transcript?

It is not odd ...  actually it is the norm.  Information needs to be entered into the SS admin and then transferred to the IRS and both agencies are understaffed and overworked.

The Wage and Income Transcript has nothing to do with processing your tax return.

Any delays in getting information into the Wage and Income Transcript are part of the general IRS backlog, and getting W-2s and 1099s into the transcript is not their top priority. The transcript is not needed for processing tax returns.

but the data transfer is electronic from the SSA to the IRS. however, if the employer paper files then there can be substantial delays.
