W4. I am trying to figure out how to bring more pay home instead of at the end of the year? Single. No kids. File As Head Of HouseHold. So 3 allowances so far.

Yes, if you wish to avoid paying taxes when you file next year's tax return, you should revise Form W-4 provided to your employer(s). Note that the filing status and exemptions you claim on Form W-4 has no effect on your tax return. This information is used to calculate your withholding taxes, and nothing more. So you can choose Married and 6 exemptions if you like.

Just remember that if you don't pay in enough taxes during the year, you may owe taxes when you file your return next year.
