W2 info not showing up on 1040

Manually entered W2, but the wage $total is not on the 1040.  And yes, it is entered on W2 form I filled out.

Did you manually enter it in forms mode or did you enter it in the step by step mode?  Were there wages in box 1?  How much income was there?  Are you looking at line 1 of your 1040?  Line 1 is where your W2 income will show. Is the W2 for less than your standard deduction and you are looking at line 9 and seeing $0 there?  Why do you say it is not on your 1040?

Are you using the download or online version?

If you entered it in forms mode, go back and delete the W2 and go to step by step mode to enter the W2.  You do not have to import it, you can choose to manually enter it.

Thank you!!!     Yes Wages of $14k in box 1,  nothing on line 1 of 1040.  I did not take a standard deduction.  I itemized.

Repair and reinstalled CD and get a message:. Wish I could screen print it.   Says a file cannot be found in cabinet file "Data1.cab" caused by error in  CD Rrom, or package.  The CD is corrupt.

Should I try to buy another one and hope for the best?

If it is corrupt, yes, you will need to return this for new desktop software.
