Hello Tmoehring

Thank you for reaching out with your W4 withholding questions.

IRS revised W4 from couple of years ago and in the new form instead of claiming number of exemptions, you have to calculate and enter dollars.

To maximize the every paycheck net take home pay, please update and submit a new W4 form. Here is your link to IRS withholding estimator

Should you have any specific question, please feel free to ask any specific question or  any needed clarification.

If you are retired and your only income going forward is Pension, you may want to use Form W4P
