W-2G or K-1 Needs Review - I don't have those forms

I'm at the end of my tax forms and ready to e-file. TT warns me to double check one of these two forms (why not say which one?) BUT my return does not have either of these forms. Is this just something to ignore?

The screenshot refers to tax withholding on the forms.  Is tax withholding being reported for these forms?

Are you able to view the Tax Payments Worksheet?

View the entries at Tax Tools / Print Center / Print, save or preview this year's return / Include government worksheets.  You may print or view your tax returns prior to filing after you have paid for the software.

Are you able to delete each form?  Follow these steps.

  1. Down the left side of the screen, select Tax Tools.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. In the center of the screen, select Delete a form

Thanks for the reply. I can see the tax payments worksheet. Lines 10-15 are blank.

So I'm not sure of the source of the warning from TT.

You should be able to Continue past this request and Efile.  Perhaps you had these documents in a prior year?

Yes, I was able to efile anyway. But this error left me wondering if everything will be ok.

Since you viewed all of your tax forms and verified things look correct, the numbers look good and in the right places, you have done your best. If they aren't the IRS will send you a letter.

When you start your return next year, be sure to view all form and delete any that no longer pertain to you.  If you are using:

  • Online: see How do I view and delete forms in TTO?
  •  Desktop: If you are working in the cd/download TurboTax program:
    1. On the top right, there is a FORMS button.
    2. Click on FORMS.
    3. Locate the form you want to delete.
    4. Click on the form name.
    5. Below the form, bottom left, select DELETE FORM button
