VA W2 has 10 numbers for employer ID number and Turbotax only allows 9 numbers. What should I do to submit my taxes online?

Don't enter a hyphen (-) it should be two numbers, hyphen and then seven more numbers. Just enter the numbers.
If the state number is different and causing an issue, use the federal EIN for the employer.

I tried that... but the computer automatically puts the hyphen in... :(

Is it 10 numbers plus the hyphen? Can you use the federal EIN?

yep, it is 10 numbers with the hyphen... really annoying. The only thing I need to do in order to submit everything. I will try the federal number.. if I can find that. It told me to put the EIN in.

Use the federal EIN. The Virginia Employer ID No. is the same as the federal, with two numbers adding to the front (for example, 30-[federal ID].
