VA Health Insurance Coverage (1095-B)

Hello,
I'm a veteran so I'm covered under the Department of Veterans Affairs for health insurance coverage.  However, when I filed my taxes, Turbo Tax did not require that I submit my 1095-B.  Will I have to pay a penalty or does the IRS also receive my 1095-B?

Turbotax did not inform us that it's "Plan ID ------" which is the third line under the flag on your VA card.

Your card may need updating if this is not on it.

The IRS will receive the 1095-B, the form you received is just information for you.  All you need to do is tell TurboTax that you did have health insurance all year.

The 1095-B is for your information, it doesn't have to be included on your 2019 tax return and you do not need to enter it into TurboTax. Please keep it for your records.
