Using Turbo Tax Freedom Edition with 1099-Misc and no W-2? THE FREEDOM EDITION FROM THE IRS by the way

If I qualify to use TurboTax freedom edition am I able to file the a Schedule C for my 1099-Misc without receiving and importing a W-2 into TurboTax. I meet the requirements, I just am wondering if it is required to have received a W-2 for a tax year to use this program.

Based on the qualifications in the following TurboTax article, there is no mention of being required to have a W-2 included as part of your return unless you are using a military W-2 as part of the qualifications to use the Free File Program.  If you meet one of the other qualifications, then you should not need to include a W-2.

What is the IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax?
