Using Home and Business for my 1040 need to offset the amt of a 1099 issued to my SSN that should have gone to LLC's EIN. How do I do that and where?

I tried adding a new 1099 in a negative amount in step by step but it didn't seem to work. At least it didn't reduce the tax amount owed.

Your EIN and SSN are both tied to your business income since it is reported on your return. You can enter income with your SSN into Sch C without having to do anything else.
