Uploaded all tax documents but when doing prompts for income etc it wont automatically enter data except for my w2. how do I get the documents to insert automatically?

You have to enter all of your tax forms.   Some W-2s and some 1099s can be uploaded or imported, but most forms need to be manually entered.   Each income section is handles differently, and TurboTax will let you know if your forms can be imported when you go through each section.  

 

If your financial institution is not on the Intuit Import Partner list, you will have to manually enter the information from the tax forms.  There are two tabs on that list - one for w-2 partners and one for 1099/1098 partners.   What if I can't import my 1099?
