It's most likely due to a missing CAPTCHA which would ask you to place a checkmark where it says "I am not a robot."  At least some users have to place the checkmark in order to continue.

I know you've already tried cleaning the browser.    Try these additional steps and then look somewhere on the end efiling screens for a CAPTCHA with "I am not a robot."

Log out and empty the browser Internet cache.  Close the browser and reopen it. Then try your browser in private browsing mode (aka "incognito mode" in Chrome).  ; i.e., open a private window, then log into TurboTax again and try to efile.   If that doesn't help, then try a different browser to see if it recurs.

Please report back with your results

Oh.. I just noticed you already have multiple threads on this topic and have tried more than one browser.

I'm not sure if you have tried the private window/private browsing option and looked for the CAPTCHA.

If you can't get it to work with what I wrote above, then here's  how to phone TurboTax Support tomorrow.  They will be open Sunday 5AM-5PM Pacific (8AM-8PM Eastern.)

And the Transmit button is still unresponsive?   I don't have anything else to suggest unless you want to want to try logging out and then try clearing both the cache and the cookies.   Otherwise, you can phone TurboTax Support tomorrow.

Also, I'm just curious about something.  Is there any lock symbol on the Transmit button, or is it simply nonresponsive?   A couple of users with this issue have said they see a lock symbol.

I cleaned both the cache and cookies before login. No lock symbol. All other buttons works fine but not this last one. It becomes smaller when I click but nothing happen

We don't know.  Probably all part of the same thing.   Likely requires the missing CAPTCHA to continue.

how to get this missing CAPTCHA

I don't know if everyone needs the CAPTCHA.  Some users have reported that that a missing CAPTCHA was "their" issue with the Transmit button not working.   They solved it by the methods you have been recommended, but for some reason it's not working for you.

Unless someone else makes an additional suggestion in this thread tonight, it looks like you'll need to speak to the folks at  TurboTax Support on  Sunday.  I left the contact link above.

Or do you have Internet Explorer to try?   You've already tried Firefox and Chrome, right?  Do you have IE to try?

@yhaiyan739
It looks like a very important step is to make sure that COOKIES are enabled (allowed).  I know you said you "cleared" the cookies, but you must also be sure you are allowing cookies, and not blocking any.

If you are blocking/disabling any cookies, you need to allow cookies for this purpose..  You can return the cookies settings to previous settings later after filing, if you wish.  See my Answer below .

It may be due to a CAPTCHA not appearing, where one would need to checkmark "I am not a robot."

  • Log out and clear your browser Internet cache.
  • Close the browser and reopen it.
  • Make sure cookies are allowed/enabled in your browser settings so the CAPTCHA will appear.
  • Log in and try again.
  • If still unsuccessful, do all the above, then this time open a private window/private browsing (aka "incognito mode").
  • Log in with the private window (again making sure cookies are allowed) and try the efile again

NOTE:   Or are you using any script blockers/ad blockers?  If so, perhaps they are blocking.

If that doesn't work, see if a different browser (with cookies allowed) will solve it.
