Unable to import just recently (Feb 23) closed Schwab account 1099's to Turbo Tax.

Has anyone experienced this issue?  I try to import 1099's from Charles Schwab to desktop TT.  It only shows the current open accounts to import from.  I had some account active on Jan 1 that I closed at Schwab in February.  You can see them on Schwab and the forms, but Turbo Tax cannot see them or let me import them.

Schwab says it is a TurboTax problem on their import.  They should allow importing all accounts, not just the current as of today open accounts.

Obviously Plan B is to manually enter all those 1099-B's.  Ugh.

TurboTax will not recognize a closed account and you will need to enter it manually. If you have a large number of transactions, the below TurboTax Help Article gives instructions on how to enter a summary in lieu of transactions.

How do I enter a large number of stock transactions in TurboTax?

I have the same issue. My husband and I had a joint Schwab account in 2023. He passed away in Sept. 2023, so I now have a new account # in my name only. TurboTax won't import our joint account 1099 since it is "CLOSED". UGH is right!

Had the same issue, spent a lot of time searching.

Call Schwab, they will temporarily reactivate your closed account so turbotax can recognize and import from it.
