Please clarify what state you are in. You received a 1099-G from your state for 2023 unemployment, but you also repaid a prior year overpayment also in 2023?

I live in Texas and yes I had a 1099G but not talking about a former year on having to pay back I had to pay back this year the over pay which was no subtracted from total amount paid

You can report the amount you paid back under the Unemployment topic in TurboTax.

Enter Form 1099-G under Federal >> Wages & Income >> Unemployment. After you enter the information from the form, look for the page, "What's the total amount you received on your 1099-G?" After you enter the amount, check the YES box under "Did you pay back any of your 20XX unemployment benefits?" Then enter the amount you paid back.
