My W-2 shows $37,000 in box 12b. TurboTax (last step before e-filing) says "Forms W-2 and W-2G Summary: Gov 457 deferrals - TP $37000 is more than the allowed $24500 for a government 457 (b) plan. Please check your entries on your W2 for government 457 (b) plans."
The amount of $37,500 is correct and due to a special catch up provision of $12,500. How do I get past this TT audit check to file?
Thanks for your help.
