Turbotax told me no need to file CA state tax, but I am asked to file one, how to file

Hi,

For 2021 tax return, I used turbotax, since I don't live in CA the software told me no need to file state tax. But I sold my rental house in 2021, now the state tax board asks me to file. When I open my 2021 tax filing, there is no option to fine CA tax. How can I file 2021 CA state tax?
