You will need to delete the form that was erroneously started or transferred from last year.  A 1099-G could be for a state tax refund, unemployment, paid family leave, or other government payment.  When you are signed into your return, click on Federal on the left and Wages and Income at the top.  Then scroll down the list of income until you the income section.  There should be a message that says ''Needs Review'' next to that section.  Click Start or Revisit next to it and delete the form.

If you can't find it that way, try this method - Procedure for viewing the forms list and deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:

  1. Open your return in TurboTax. (To do this, sign in to TurboTax, and select Take me to my return.)
  2. In the left-side menu, select Tax Tools Tools.
  3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
  4. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the onscreen instructions.
