As a starting point, every single release note link I've seen in TurboTax 2019 has been broken:
In the case of release notes, as they were, they have been removed indefinitely. We are still working out how we wish to deal with the "More details" link going forward. We do apologize for any confusion. Is there another link you would like us to look into?
If I have already filled in the forms on a laptop version but have not filed the form, how will I know if the update changed any of my information without knowing what changes to the program were made? Is there any other way to tell?
Unfortunately, release notes for updates have been discontinued.
Lack of release notes for a product handling something as crucial as taxes simply isn't acceptable given the importance of understanding changes that may impact my returns. I will switch to a competing product next year that does offer product transparency and will help as many people as possible to make the change away from TurboTax as well.
