TurboTax is sending emails to an address I have but don't use. The preferences on my account do not refer to that inactive email address. How do I delete it?

By submitting an account recovery request that includes a copy of your driver's license or other approved ID.

Done.

Will TurboTax contact me if they can't find the old (inactive) email address in my account?

Do you have more than one account?  Maybe the emails are coming from an old account.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

If these are junk/marketing emails then simply mark them as spam or block them and then ignore them.

I got the email with the code and I entered it.

But it did NOT show me a list of my account(s) with TurboTax.
