TurboTax is importing 1099-DIV with incorrect box 1a and 1b values

So I am doing my taxes using TT Premier Windows, and I noticed that my 2022 Fidelity 1099-DIV is slightly different from the one imported, basically, boxes 1a and 1b are 1 cent more on the actual form, but TT is showing 1 cent less. I know this is not a big deal, but I checked my 2021 taxes, and I see the same issue. as 2022. Also, I did try to delete and re-import but the issue persists.

I understand that you just want your return to be right.  This type of discrepancy can happen when the dividend value is in fractions of a penny.  The rounding criteria may be different.

However, to correct your entry I suggest you post the dividend manually.

  1. Select Federal
  2. Wages & Income
  3. Scroll to Investments & Savings and
  4. select Show More,
  5. Start or Revisit next to Dividends on 1099-DIV - Okay!
  6. Time to kick off your investments!
  7. Yes, on the screen Did you receive any dividend income? then Continue.
    • If you see the screen Your investments & savings or Here's your 1099-DIV info, select.
    • Add investments or add another 1099-DIV, then Continue.
  8. Choose how you'd like to enter your 1099-DIV:
    • If you'd rather manually enter your form, select.
      • Change how I enter my form, select.
      • 1099-DIV, then
      • Type it in myself on the following screen.
  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the info from your 1099-DIV.
  10. When you reach the screen Here's your 1099-DIV info, the form you just imported should be listed.
  11. You can open it and make the adjustment.
