TurboTax is giving me a check this entry on Schedule 1. The additional information is Qualified Tuition program distributions-recent tax law changes. We'll let you know

It will not transmit the return or clear the review.  When will this be fixed?

We do not have a firm date for this update.  However, I would not expect it to be beyond the middle of February before taxpayers affected by these changes are able to file.

If you are seeing this message because you have entered Form 1099-Q and you have only used the distributions to pay for qualifying higher education expenses you can remove the form from TurboTax and file your return now.

The IRS only requires that taxpayers report the information furnished on this form when there is a taxable distribution

(See instructions to recipient printed on Form 1099-Q: Nontaxable distributions from CESAs and QTPs are not required to be reported on your income tax return. You must determine the taxability of any distribution.)
