TurboTax is asking me to enter address in form 3514 Earned Income Tax Credit. This form does not apply to me. It wont let me file my taxes. Can't leave blank either.

To delete the Form 3514, follow these steps:

  • Click Forms on the upper right.
  • Click Form 3514 under Forms in My Return on the left.
  • Click Delete Form at the bottom left.

I am having the same problem. But I am using the online version and am unable to delete Form 3514. I am certain this is a software glitch. TT Support: please update on how to correct this.

Did they ever get back to you about this? Was your issue resolved? I'm having the same problem.

This is a thread from last year about deleting Form 3514.   What exactly are you wanting to do?

Are you trying to fix or delete a California Form 3514 in the Online version?   If you're wanting to delete, see if you can follow the steps left by a TurboTax Support agent in the thread at this link:

If not, post in that thread, and she will probably see it when she is next in the forum.

The form is not listed in the "Form list" when you go to Tools Center -> Delete Form

I was struggling with this bug but found a workaround that might help others.  Just put anything in one of the fields it prompts you.  So in State, but 'NA'  and before trying to file, go back into 'Delete Forms' and the 3514 form will now show in that list and you can delete it.
