TurboTax insists on me completing schedule k info but the company no longer exists

I used to own an LLC but I dissolved it in 2022.

I obviously received no income from the non-corporation in 2023.

When I first started TT this year I clicked the box to say that I did not have Sch K income.

There is no Sch K listed on my Income and Expenses.

But when I complete the process and it does the final check, it says there is an issue: Sch K-1 Wks-S Corporations (ton): S Copr ID Number must be entered.

I do not understand why TT is requiring this information as there is no Schedule K to file.

How do I get rid of this so that I can complete filing my taxes this year?

(I can't select my edition of TurboTax because I'm using TurboTax Premium and that isn't listed.)

You may need to delete a Schedule K-1 worksheet that was brought over from your prior year return.

If you are using TurboTax Online:

  1. Login to TurboTax and click on Continue where you left off to get into the prep section.
  2. In the left column, click on Tax Tools then Tools.
  3. Click on Delete a form
  4. Scroll down and look for Sch K-1 Wks for the company you no longer own.
  5. Click Delete to the right of the form.
  6. Click Delete Selected Form to confirm deletion.
  7. Click Continue with my return to go back to the main screen.

Unfortunately, I've already done that. And it still asks.

If you're using TurboTax Online, after you delete the Schedule K Worksheet, close the program, clear your Cache and Cookies and re-open.

If the question still comes up in review, often you can continue without answering it and it won't affect your return or ability to Efile.
