Turbotax fails to launch on Mac

When trying to launch Turbotax for Mac it says TurboTax Home Business 2019.app can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

Will somebody please provide a solution to this problem?

Probably best to call Apple Support.

Go to FINDER  and you will see TT  2019 listed. Right click on that. Again the message will come up about not being able to open due to unchecked malicious software. Click on OPEN and Turbo Tax should download.

Thank you! That solution worked for me. Right click allows you to override the error message.
