Turbotax desktop - unable to add 1099-INT

I am trying to add 1099-INT, I press the button "add interest income", program walks me through the steps the steps but at the end there are no new entries in that list

 

please help!

Follow these steps.  Post if you are seeing something different.

 

In TurboTax Desktop Premier, enter an IRS form 1099-INT by following these steps:

 

  • Across the top of the screen, click on Federal Taxes.
  • Across the top of the screen, click on Wages & Income.
  • Select I'll choose what I work on.
  • Scroll down to Interest and Dividends.
  • Click Start / Update to the right of Interest on 1099-INT.
  • At the screen Did you receive any interest income, Click Yes.
  • Select Import from my bank or brokerageContinue.
  • At the screen Search for your financial institution, enter the bank or broker.  Continue.
  • Continue.
  • At We'll open a tab, select OK.
  • At the screen Let's import your tax info, select Get my form.
  • At Connect Your Accounts, enter User ID and Password.  Select Log in.
  • Your broker may require you to confirm your identity.
  • Connect Accounts.
  • The screen says Connection complete!  Success we got your tax data.  You can now return to TurboTax.
  • At the screen These documents are now ready for import, uncheck any items that you do not want included in your return.  Select Import now.
  • You will see a screen such as below.  Other bank or broker statements may look different.

 

 

Or follow these steps:

 

  • Across the top of the screen, click on Federal Taxes.
