TurboTax decided to wait until the last screen to inform me that the Ret. Savings credit would FORCE an upgrade. How do I remove it and not be tricked into paying extra?

The upgrade will cost more than the credit "saved" me.
It's literally wasting part of my regular refund to pay $29 for a $13 credit.

Go back to the My Info section and enter your occupation as Student. This will eliminate the Saver's Credit on your tax return so that you can continue to use the Free online edition.

Click on My Info on the left side of the online program screen.
