turbotax 2024 extracting update then hangs

I just installed desktop Turbotax 2024, start the software, it starts installing an update, gets to 'extracting update' then stalls.

 

Tried more than once, and after restarting, still the same problem.

 

Running MAC OS Ventura.

I recommend you delete your current installation and reinstall TurboTax.  Before reinstalling, make sure you have the latest macOS Ventura update - 13 is required for TurboTax 2024.
