Turbo tax stuck in endless loop fed.... "XXXX Basis Amount Reported (Positive Amounts Only) differs from your calculated basis, and your transaction contains both short..

There is no way out of this bug. Regardless of what value I enter it keep coming back to this dialog...


Capital Gain Wks (Xsh. XXX): Basis Amount Reported (Positive Amounts Only) differs from your calculated basis, and your transaction contains both short-term and long-term components. To calculate an adjustment for corrected basis, please report the short-term component of this transaction separately from its long-term component.

any amount you enter is going to give error until you follow the suggestion.

I don't even know how you can enter a transaction with LT and ST components, but somehow you did it.
